Its been 3 years since I last posted here, and its time I had something else on the front page other than my "I need an imagination" entry.


Obviously much has changed since I last wrote 3 years ago. I'm now waist-deep in adulthood with my own home and income and car and insurance payments and taxes and all that droll. I have a finacee to go home to who cooks all of my favorite foods and puts up with my chronic nerdyness. We're planning a wedding sometime in the next...2-5 years? We got engaged and went, "Oh wait there's still a lot to see and do and pay for before then."


I still draw a little these days. I garden a little out on my patio. My lavendar and mint will be very useful once they're mature enough to harvest from Out of all the things there are to draw I mostly stick to people. I love the pursuit of perfecting anatomy. Then, once I have the people drawn I usually put clothes on them. I absolutely love Steampunk fashion. Victorian-era clothing always seemed to just clothe women with an all-consuming black dress and call it good. Steampunk maintained the well-crafted elegance of the Victorian era, but sexes it up a little. Wonderful stuff.


So now, I dabble in sewing in order to bring my creations to life. I've gotten past the part where I get the bird's nest of thread after a few seconds of sewing. Now I just have to work out the problem of loose bobbin stitches and I'm good to go!
